                                   Clothing Construction
1. Read General Rules.
2. Garments may have been worn but shall be carefully laundered or cleaned and pressed before
being exhibited.
3. The garment will be judged for construction as it affects total appearance. Considered will be
construction detail appropriate to fabric and style of garments; quality of construction,
appropriate finishing techniques, and value for money spent.
4. There is no limit to the number of articles that may be exhibited
5. When garments are brought to the fair, PLACE ALL GARMENTS ON HANGERS with
hooks toward the right shoulder. Attach slacks, shorts, and skirts to the hangers with large safety
pins so garment does not slide to the end of hanger. Cover garment with a clear plastic bag.
6. All articles must have been made within the last year.
200 A – Clothing Construction
200 Y – Clothing Construction
200 S – Clothing Construction
                                   Decorative Clothing
1. Read General Rules.
2. Any technique or combination of techniques used to decorate clothing is acceptable for this
class.
3. There is no limit to the number of entries.
4. All entries must be covered with a plastic bag.
201 A – Decorative Clothing

                                   Handwork
1. Read General Rules.
2. Handwork includes any one of the following: Counted Cross-stitch embroidery, needlepoint,
crewel, tatting, plastic canvas, macramé, latch hook, or cutwork.
3. All articles exhibited must be in clear plastic bag.
202 A - Handwork – Misc. (Pillows, Vest, Etc.)
202 Y - Handwork – Misc. (Pillows, Vest, Etc.)
202 S - Handwork – Misc. (Pillows, Vest, Etc.)
203 A – Handwork – Framed articles
203 Y – Handwork – Framed articles

205 – Plastic / Canvas stitching
                                   Crocheting
1. Read General Rules.
2. When articles which are normally worn as a pair are exhibited, both articles must be shown
together. Fasten articles together with yarn.
3. There is no limit to the number of entries per class.
4. All entries must be placed in clear plastic bags.
206 A – Crocheting
206 Y – Crocheting
206 S – Crocheting
                                   Knitting
1. Read General Rules.
2. When articles that are normally worn as a pair or set are exhibited, articles must be shown
together. Fasten articles together securely with yarn.
3. There is no limit to the number of articles that may be exhibited.
4. All entries must be placed in clear plastic bags.
207A – Knitting
207Y – Knitting
207S – Knitting
                                   Quilting
1. Read General Rules.
2. All work must have been done by the exhibitor except for class 212 (A-Y-S).
3. All entries must have been made with the last 3 years.
4. Please specify on a 3x5 card the name of the quilt or the name of the pattern used to construct the quilt or the name of the patteren.
5. Quilts must be in clear plastic cover when brought to the Fair. For the protection of the
exhibit, each exhibit must be checked out by the superintendent at check out time.

Special Award
- $25.00 "Best of Show" - to be selected from clothing, handwork, crochet,
knitting, quilts. All 1st place items will be judged for this award.
