ENTRY FEE -- $6 per class postmarked by June 9th, we will allow late entries day of class however they are highly discouraged if at all possible due to the planning that goes into scheduling of classes to run smoothly. COST OF LATE ENTRIES WILL BE $12.00 PER CLASS (no day of show entries for OPEN OR UTILITY OBEDIENCE CLASSES will be allowed)

2. BARTON 4-H and Open Dog Show are scheduled to run same day at same time. Barton County 4-H Dog Show Classes are only open to those enrolled in the Barton County 4-H Dog Project. OPEN DOG SHOW is open to all 4-Hers from all other counties, Barton county 4-Hers and anyone else that wishes to participate. Show will be held in the EXPO III building, with dirt arenas similar to state fair conditions.
3. Classes will be judged following 4-H Dog Rule Book guidelines available at County Extension Offices. This is a qualifying show for 4-H members enrolled in the Kansas 4-H project.
4. Entry Forms must be filled out and postmarked by June 9th to the Barton County Fair Association, PO Box 233 Great Bend, KS 67530 or visit www.bartoncountyfair.com to enter online. Make checks payable to: Barton County Fair Association. NO REFUNDS!
5. 4-H Dog Show Immunization Record must be completed for each dog entered at the Dog Show. A copy of the fully completed form must accompany the entry form.
6. Only participating dogs are allowed at the Expo Grounds during the time of the show.
7. Any abuse of dogs on the grounds, or in the ring, will result in disqualification. Any dog that is overly aggressive or potentially dangerous to people or other dogs must be removed from the grounds and disqualified. Judgment may be made by either the judge or show committee.
8. No dog in season will be allowed to show and must be removed from the fairgrounds immediately.
9. Any dog with a contagious, communicable or infectious disease or condition, in the judgment of the show committee or judge, cannot be shown. The dog must be removed from the show grounds immediately. This includes but not limited to: warts, ringworm, lice, mange.
10. Each exhibitor may enter one dog in showmanship. Multiple dogs may be entered in Obedience, Agility and Rally-O, provided that they are in different classes.
11. A dog with an AKC Obedience Title must show in a class above what the title was awarded for.
12. AWARDS: There are no premiums for open classes. All awards will be presented after each class. High point awards will be presented at the end of show.
13. COSTUME CLASS (Doggie Dress-Up)—this class has no entry fee and no pre-entry is required. This class will be held at the end of show.
14. Classes noted with * are not considered qualifying classes, as they are not offered at the Kansas State Fair.
