1. Review General Rules.
2. Entries will be placed in classes by age with the day of judging being the base date.
3. Animals must be free of abscesses, sore mouth and otherwise healthy. Health certificates will
be required and need to be checked by livestock chairman before unloading the animals.
Registration papers will also be checked at this time.
4. Exhibitor should be neatly and appropriately dressed when exhibiting their animals, preferably
in white clothing.
5. Each exhibitor is limited to a maximum of two dairy goats per class. Bucks are not allowed to
show.
6. Classes will be divided into registered and recorded grade and grade classes. Exhibitor must
have papers at check-in.
7. To exhibit at county and state fairs: registration papers or stamped duplicate registration
application will be required for all animals in the registered and recorded grade classes. Papers
must be in the name of the 4-Her by May 1, except for animals born to your herd after that date,
or show ownership by May 1 for grades.
8. The following breeds will be shown as listed in these classes: A. Alpine, L. LaMancha, N.
Nubian, O. Oberhasli, S. Saanen, T. Toggenburg, G. Grade and Recorded Grades, all breeds
together. Example: If you have a registered Alpine doe just previously freshened and 15 months
old, she would be entered in Class 1204A. If you have a grade Nubian doe just previously
freshened and 15 months old, she would be entered in Class 1204G.
Junior
1200 - Doe up to 6 months of age
1201 - Doe 6-12 months of age
1202 - Doe 12-24 months of age
Champion and Reserve Champion of each breed
Grand Champion and Reserved Grand Champion Junior Doe
(Any age in milk or previously freshened)
Senior
1203 - Doe 0-24 months of age
1204 - Doe 2 to 3 yrs. of age
1205 - 3 to 4 year old
1206 - Does 4 years and older
Champion and Reserve Champion of each breed
Grand Champion and Reserved Grand Champion Senior Doe

Showmanship
1209 - Senior (14 and older)
1210 - Intermediate (10-13)
1211 - Junior (7-9)
Champions and Reserve Champions selected from each age group
Champion of Dairy and Pygmy Goats combined will show in Small Animal Round Robin.
