Hand pets

1. Review General Rules.
2. Each exhibitor is limited to 2 entries per class and four entries overall.
3. Rabbits entered in the Rabbit Division category are not eligible to enter the Pets Division Category.
4. Classes 1905 & 1906 entries are checked in at entry time and stay on display during the fair in Expo II, electricity will be provided. Exception: Class 1905, for those with glass aquariums/living environments too large to transport. A VHS video (5 min. max.) narrated by the 4-H'er of the larger glass aquarium/living environment will be accepted.
5. Class 1902, 1904 and 1905 MUST be shown in their permanent small cage or aquarium living environments. Exception: See Rule 4.
6. Dogs, domestic fowl and game birds are not considered Hand Pets, and are not eligible for competition in the Hand Pets Division
7. Entries will be judged on the 4-Hers knowledge of their pets' needs.
8. A Champion and Reserve Champion will be chosen for each class from all purple ribbon winners.
9. All classes are open to Mini-4-Hers and participation ribbons will be awarded.
10. Cats need to have all vaccines, proof of rabies vaccine.

1900 - Indoor Cats
1901 - Outdoor Cats
1902 - Small mammals (guinea pigs, gerbils, chinchillas, hamsters etc.)
1903 - Rabbits (see rule 3)
1904 - Amphibians/Reptiles/Arachnids/Arthropods (salamanders, turtles, snakes, tarantulas, hermit crabs, etc.)
1905 – Fish & Aquarium Fish – VHS video judging (5 min. Max.)
1906 – Exotic Birds (parrots, cockatiels, etc.)
